It’s hard to believe that it has been over a year since I last posted.  I will try to make up for lost time.

Last July, I had the fortune of being able to walk in Darwin’s footsteps–visit the Galapagos.  It was a wonderful and life-changing trip–the photographic opportunities were excellent.  The travel mates and leaders were inspiring.  The place was magical.

The scenic photograph was taken when we were leaving Kicker Rock.  The ocean has worn a small channel between the two rocks and I had a wonderful experience snorkeling between the rocks. Below me swam sleeping Galapagos sharks (thankfully nocturnal) as well as a myriad of sea life.
